Bratislava, 30.4.2017 Thomson Reuters officers informed us on 17 August 2016 that Journal of Hydrology and Hydromechanics (JHH) would be included in Current Contents Connect starting with V64(4) 2016. Subsequently, Dr. Pavla Pekárová, the director of the Institute of Hydrology SAS (IH SAS), awarded the Medals of Merit of the IH SAS to four members of JHH Editorial Board (Prof. Günter Blöschl, Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria, Prof. Václav Matoušek, Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague, Czech Republic, Prof. Tammo S. Steenhuis, Cornell University, Ithaca, USA, and Prof. Martinus Th. van Genuchten, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) for their important contribution to raising the level of this Journal.
